Ep. 7: Wei Wuxian regains control after Jiang Yanli's sacrifice and reunites with Lan Wangji.
Wei Wuxian wakes in the Burial Mound cave after fainting at Qiongqi Way, where he attacks Wen Ning before Wen Qing subdues him. He later attends a ceremony in the Nightless City, where Wen Ning goes berserk and corrupts Wei Wuxian with resentful energy. Lan Wangji attempts to reason with him, but Jiang Yanli arrives and is injured by a fierce corpse. Wei Wuxian loses control until Jiang Yanli calms him, only to be stabbed while shielding him. Enraged, Wei Wuxian unleashes the Stygian Tiger Seal, causing massive slaughter. He then wakes under Lan Wangji's care, who returns his Yunmeng bell and temporary flute, revealing he knew Wei Wuxian's identity since Mt. Dafan. They share a meal, discussing the dream and Lan Wangji's suspicion that another manipulated the seal to frame Wei Wuxian for past deaths.
