Ep. 5: Wei Wuxian Remembers Past Conflicts With Jin and Lan Sects
Jin Ling regains consciousness at an inn while Jiang Cheng confronts Wei Wuxian about his recent behavior. Wen Ning arrives to defend Wei Wuxian, leading to a three-way battle outside. Wei Wuxian drives Wen Ning away to prevent him from losing control and flees, only to be pursued by Fairy. He hides in an abandoned residence where Jin Ling finds him. During their conversation, Wei Wuxian reflects on his childhood with Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli, apologizing for his actions at Mt. Dafan. After Jin Ling departs, Wen Ning returns, prompting Wei Wuxian to recall protecting the Wen sect remnants and surrendering the Stygian Tiger Seal. Wei Wuxian then examines Wen Ning's memories, uncovering that the Jin Sect and Lan Sect collaborated in previous years.
