Ep. 10: Koyomi and Mayoi walk home after resolving the alternate timeline crisis.

A woman drives out undead by throwing rice, revealing herself as Mayoi, who delivers a letter from Oshino. Koyomi and Shinobu discover they traveled to a different timeline. Before returning to their original reality, they must confront an alternate Shinobu who is still alive. Destroying her stops the undead plague and prevents world destruction. After saying goodbye to adult Mayoi, the pair return to the temple ruins. The alternate Shinobu cries with joy, having reunited with Koyomi in another timeline, and offers her life to enable their return. Back in their rightful time, Koyomi regrets missing the opening ceremony. Shinobu returns to his shadow, and Mayoi appears. They walk together to his house to return her backpack.
