Ep. 12: Nadeko Medusa, Part One
Transformed into an apparition, Nadeko confronts Shinobu and a battered Koyomi, who intend to kill her. Envious of their relationship, she stabs Koyomi's heart. The narrative then shifts to Halloween, several days prior, when Nadeko encounters Ougi Oshino, Meme Oshino's niece and a first-year student at Koyomi's high school. Ougi tells Nadeko it is time to stop playing the victim. Later, Nadeko experiences visions of white snakes and contacts Koyomi for advice. They agree to meet at 10 PM at his house, knowing Shinobu will be awake to help. Nadeko then hears a snake's voice instructing her to visit the shrine where she previously killed snakes. There, the giant apparition snake Kuchinawa reveals itself and demands compensation for the white snakes Nadeko killed by asking for a favor, which she accepts.
