Nadeko wakes beside Tsukihi, who confesses her love for Koyomi stems from using it to reject other suitors. Tsukihi cuts Nadeko's bangs, removing her ability to hide emotions. At school, Nadeko snaps at her teacher and classmates after losing her cover. Kuchinawa explains her outburst reveals repressed feelings and directs her to Koyomi's house. Nadeko finds a talisman there. Kuchinawa offers a wish in gratitude. Nadeko asks for Koyomi's love, but Koyomi enters and denies it is possible.
