Ep. 17: Koyomi returns Mayoi's backpack and encounters a mysterious entity with Shinobu's help.

Koyomi returns home after his time travel journey and reunites with Mayoi to give back her backpack. A strange creature suddenly pursues them, prompting Yotsugi to intervene and fly them to safety. She steals a kiss from Koyomi as repayment before fleeing. Shinobu appears shortly after, enraged, and Koyomi calms her by kissing her in return. Mayoi remains unconscious from the ordeal. Koyomi asks Shinobu about the dark entity they encountered. She reveals she saw it during a trip to Japan four hundred years ago. Shinobu warns that this entity will destroy the entire city if no action is taken to address the threat.
