Lala and Rito arrive late to school after visiting the site of his initial confession, where she openly declares her love. Later, at a public bathhouse, bounty hunters Tiger and Panther control Rito to attack Yami, but Lala overrides their signal to defeat them. Meanwhile, Yui enforces a strict demerit system, confiscating Lala’s invention. During a rainstorm, Yui shelters with Rito, becoming flustered by his wet shirt and his handkerchief offer. She leaves after deducting eight points from herself for her attraction, unaware that Rito is subsequently injured by the dropped invention.
