Ep. 2: The Ruins of Akagawa Estates

Rio endures a painful purification ritual while Goryo and Ebisu wager their entire arrangement on an upcoming challenge. Muhyo explains the century-long decline of Goryo’s Onmyōdō family, noting that the Akagawa Estates demolition was abandoned twenty years ago due to spiritual interference, raising the exorcism fee to 30 million yen. During the confrontation, Muhyo shields Nana with a Silver Curtain barrier. Inside, Muhyo and Roji encounter a foggy face spirit and a swarm of round doll spirits. Flashbacks reveal Ai, a girl who died after receiving handmade dolls, and her grieving mother who created the spirits. Muhyo sentences the dolls to Hell's Picture Book for obstructing magical law, but they replicate mitotically. Goryo abandons Nana to use the barrier, leaving her vulnerable to Ebisu and the dolls until Muhyo and Roji arrive to rescue her.
