Tetsuo Tosu, a middle-aged salaryman, kills his daughter’s yakuza boyfriend after witnessing the man's abuse. This act draws him into the criminal underworld, putting his family in danger. His desire for a peaceful life is now replaced with the need to survive. Despite his age and physical limitations, Tetsuo uses his intelligence to defend his family and navigate the threats surrounding them.
