Ep. 13: Manaka offers herself to save Akari during the Ofunehiki ceremony

Manaka returns home after speaking with Tsumugu and meets Hikari, who reaffirms his feelings. She promises to share important news after the Ofunehiki ceremony. During the event, Hikari and friends help transport Akari to the sea god while Uroko illuminates the path. Whirlpools suddenly surround the boats, pulling both Akari and Tsumugu into the ocean. Chisaki and Kaname dive to rescue Tsumugu, while Manaka saves Akari and offers herself as a substitute. Hikari rescues his sister but fails to save Manaka. Meanwhile, the boat carrying Kaname, Chisaki, and Tsumugu maneuvers to avoid a falling pillar, causing Kaname to fall into the water with an uncertain fate. A strange barrier simultaneously covers the entire Shioshishio.
