Ep. 12: Tsumugu meets his mother while Hikari confesses to Manaka during wedding preparations.
Preparations for the Ofunehiki and Akari's wedding proceed as Tsumugu accompanies Manaka and Chisaki to the city for a dress fitting, where he briefly encounters his mother and appears displeased. Akari meets her father, expressing her desire to provide Itaru and Miuna with the same happiness he gave his children after their mother's death. In Shioshishio, Hikari and his friends realize younger peers are already hibernating, making their own fate inevitable. After recalling old school memories, Kaname prompts Hikari to confess his feelings for Manaka in front of the girls. Manaka flees in surprise, but Chisaki stops Hikari, confesses her own feelings, and urges him to chase Manaka. While escaping the village, Manaka becomes trapped in Tsumugu's fishing net and encounters him.
