Manaka remains asleep but healthy, prompting Chisaki to realize Miuna’s affection for him. Chisaki then hears a new part of the Ofunehiki legend from Isamu while tending to him. At Tsumugu's house, Kaname questions Tsumugu about research funding for Shioshishio, leading to a night where both men confess their feelings for Chisaki. The next day, Chisaki struggles against currents until Hikari rescues her. She shares the legend with him, suggesting Manaka’s coma relates to a lost Ena. Hikari plans to confront Uroko and returns to the surface with Chisaki, who admits her lingering love for him. Despite these developments, one week passes without Manaka waking up.
