Ep. 20: Hikari searches for Uroko while Miuna questions her feelings and Manaka wakes up
Hikari continues his futile search for Uroko to wake Manaka, with assistance from Kaname and Chisaki. Miuna, having opted out of the search, confronts Hikari about his plan to abandon school, causing tension between them. She later doubts her own motives, fearing she subconsciously wants Manaka to remain asleep due to her attachment to Hikari. When a feverish Hikari mistakes Miuna for Manaka and collapses, she feigns illness to care for him. Tsumugu contacts her regarding research but visits in person upon noticing her distress. He shares that he initially feared Hikari and Kaname’s return due to feelings for Chisaki but ultimately rejoiced. After reflecting on this, Miuna returns home to discuss matters with Hikari. Their serious conversation is interrupted when Manaka suddenly awakens, halting their argument and leaving everyone shocked.
