Ep. 7: Kanaka's Dangerous Pool Adventure Ends in Virtual Reality Revelation

Seeking relief from summer heat, Kanaka leads friends to a crowded public pool, using a wristband device to locate a secluded island beach. She provides Kazuto with experimental hair gel to help him swim, though it causes him to move uncontrollably fast. While Kazuto and Narue build a sandcastle and Maruo and Yagi explore with exotic animals, Kanaka chases them on a mammoth toward a cave. After falling and breaking her device, the group is separated. When a bridge collapses, Narue falls into the water, prompting Kazuto to jump in after her. Both are swept down a waterfall but are rescued by Bathyscaphe, who restores normalcy. Bathyscaphe confiscates Kanaka’s device, revealing that their entire adventure was part of a virtual reality game.
