Kabuto uses a Manda clone and Deidara to flip the giant turtle after evading Onoki. Inside, Yamato, Motoi, and Aoba urge Naruto to continue his survey while investigating. Onoki and Akatsuchi distract Deidara, allowing the Tsukikage to attack. Yamato’s group enables Kurotsuchi to trap Kabuto with Quicklime jutsu. However, Kabuto reveals a trap, shedding his skin to become a monster. He abducts Yamato into Manda II’s nostril before retreating, disappointing Deidara. Meanwhile, Tobi, who replaced his left eye with one of Nagato’s, confirms Kabuto’s plan to use Yamato’s cells for modifying the White Zetsu. This event occurs during the Fourth Shinobi World War: Countdown arc, specifically episode 21 out of 22.
