She leads him to the outskirts, clarifying that Nagato does not reside within the village. During their battle, Konan accuses Tobi of stealing the Akatsuki and questions his motives for aligning with Naruto. Tobi claims responsibility for influencing Yahiko and asserts that Madara provided Nagato with the Rinnegan. Konan rejects his demands and detonates thousands of paper bombs to eliminate him. Both survive the explosion, though Tobi loses his right arm and suffers mask damage. Konan declares that she has entrusted the ideals of her fallen comrades to Naruto, revealing that the sea beneath them contains six hundred billion paper bombs.
