A coffin emerges from the ground, revealing Fukai, the previous Eight-Tails jinchuriki. Fukai explains he was not in control and urges escape, but B remains confident without Gyuuki. Fukai unexpectedly enters Version 2, shocking the duo. It is revealed that Orochimaru’s experiments thirty years prior caused Fukai’s death and Gyuuki’s rampage. During the battle in their respective Version 2 states, the truth emerges: Orochimaru infiltrated Kumogakure, drugged Fukai, and extracted Gyuuki cells. With Motoi’s help, B conveys his feelings to Fukai, who is glad B found purpose. As Fukai’s body deconstructs, he orders B to end the war. B then rushes toward the battlefield, declaring his war has just begun.
