Kabuto uses Torune to summon reanimated weak soldiers, including D-rank ninja like Osoi, to ambush the Allied Shinobi Forces. White Zetsu identifies these as Impure World Reincarnation failures. The alliance realizes some targets are loved ones and that Kabuto seeks stronger pawns, specifically the Third Raikage. Torune leads fugitives using Heiji’s jutsu to escape. At the sealing site, Daimaru attempts to break the tag with Earth Style while Chuukaku prays. Temari intervenes, stopping Chuukaku. Daimaru confesses love to Temari before being sealed. Temari attacks Torune, only to find a clone. Kabuto remains surprised by Torune’s skills and intends to use him for his demands.
