Naruto identifies the enemy Yota as a disguised White Zetsu, relieving his allies of guilt as they defeat the imposters. Yota saves Naruto but drowns, subsequently erasing everyone's memories of him. He explains that he was an early Impure World Reincarnation subject who died young due to a frail body, despite his clan's weather control abilities.
