Ep. 345: Obito endures rehabilitation and learns of Madara's vision before rushing to save Rin from the Hidden Mist.

While recovering under the care of two White Zetsu, Obito learns about Madara's goal of a painless world and trains with prosthetic limbs made from White Zetsu. When informed that his teammates are attacked by Hidden Mist ninja, Obito attempts to break through a rock barrier blocking the exit. Tobi offers himself as armor, using power from the Gedo Statue to destroy the rock. Despite Obito's refusal to return, Madara insists he will show gratitude later. Ignoring a vision of Rin through his empty eye socket, Obito races to the battlefield, noting potential power from Hashirama's cells. He arrives to find Rin dead, impaled by Kakashi's Chidori. As Kakashi collapses, both awaken their Mangekyou Sharingan. Obito slaughters the surrounding Mist ninja using Wood Style: Cutting Sprigs. Standing in blood beside Rin's body, he mourns her death and concludes he is in hell.
