Ep. 349: Kakashi struggles with trauma after Rin's death while Minato becomes Hokage and Kakashi joins ANBU
Following the Third Great Ninja War, Kakashi Hatake suffers from nightmares and withdrawal due to Rin's death. The Ino-Shika-Chou trio deliver a treaty to the Hidden Stone, where the Fourth Kazekage intervenes to prevent conflict. In Konoha, Hiruzen decides to step down as Hokage, rejecting Orochimaru and Danzo's nomination to appoint Minato Namikaze instead. Minato accepts the position, bringing joy to his wife Kushina. As his first duty, Minato tasks Kakashi with transporting a scroll. Kakashi is attacked by an enemy ninja but is saved by Guy, who was secretly sent to aid him. Minato visits Kakashi in the hospital and orders him to join the ANBU under his direct command. Kakashi then equips his gear and dons his mask, officially beginning his tenure as an ANBU operative.
