Ep. 400: Lee Confronts Goji After Learning Shira's Story of Exclusion and Gaara's Recognition

Lee learns that Shira was barred from the Academy due to his inability to use ninjutsu or genjutsu. Despite this, Shira trained alone until Gaara, the Kazekage, witnessed his strength and granted him shinobi status, overturning previous restrictions. Moved by this history, Lee seeks out Goji and his teammates to demand an apology for their past cruelty. When they refuse, Lee falls victim to another genjutsu until Neji and Tenten arrive to save him. Shira intervenes to stop the conflict, accepting blame for his own perceived weakness and offering his scroll to the group. Team Goji declines the gift but offers their own scroll to Shira instead. Following their departure, Lee requests a spar with Shira, who agrees to the challenge.
