After the written test, Shikamaru announces a second part where teams must name a decoy within three minutes. Kankuro informs Tsunade that Sunagakure will supervise the second phase, raising her suspicions. Homura and Koharu deliver a warning from Danzou regarding Amegakure genin. The first phase concludes, and passing teams travel to Suna. Sajin’s team is eliminated for choosing Mijin as the decoy. Neji explains that no comrade should be sacrificed and that a written answer was unnecessary.
