With Madara nearby, Black Zetsu attempts to seize the Rinnegan and Yin-Kurama but cannot leave Obito’s body because he refuses. Obito questions his identity, and Madara claims Obito is his follower aiming to end the Sage of the Six Paths’ world via the Eye of the Moon Plan. As Minato, Kakashi, and Gaara try to intervene, Obito effortlessly stops them but rejects Madara’s hand, stabbing him instead. Recalling Naruto, Obito asserts he remains the boy who wanted to become Hokage. He extracts Shukaku and Gyuuki chakra fragments, instructs Kakashi to teleport Naruto and Sakura to another dimension, and shares a final moment with Kakashi before Madara prevents Obito from following.
