Guy discovers Duy’s poor performance stems from nightly Eight Gates training. During a mission against the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of Mist, Duy sacrifices himself to save Guy, citing his self-rule. In the present, Guy recalls this rule while facing Madara. Despite Madara’s mockery of his red vapor, Guy advances to attack with the Evening Elephant, honoring Duy’s legacy.
