Minato and Obito arrive to assist Rin and Kakashi after a traitor attack, though the enemies escape. A final escortee requests verification of a scroll’s authenticity, leading to the discovery that it is a fake and the other escortee holds the genuine item. Obito rushes to rescue the targeted escortee, with others following. After traitors attack the escortee, Obito and Kakashi intervene, but the scroll is stolen during the fight. Kakashi pursues the group alone, claiming it is his ninja way, prompting Obito to alert Minato. Minato arrives to save Kakashi and defeat the attackers. The team returns, only to learn both scrolls were decoys and another group holds the real one. In the present, Madara targets Obito and Kakashi for the Rinnegan and Yin-Kurama. Obito escapes to another dimension with Kakashi’s help, convinces Sakura of his change, and transfers tailed beast chakra to Naruto. Guy saves Kakashi from Madara in the real world.
