Ep. 44: Naruto's Wounds Resist Healing as Sai Delivers Danzo's Letter to Orochimaru

Sakura struggles to heal Naruto’s severe injuries with her medical ninjutsu. Meanwhile, Orochimaru attempts to kill Sai in the forest, only to discover the target is an ink clone. The real Sai emerges from the ground and hands Orochimaru a letter from Danzo before departing with him and Kabuto to their hideout. Yamato tracks them using a wood clone. After regaining consciousness, Naruto’s team arrives at the battlefield and retrieves Sai’s picture book. Based on observations made by the clone, Yamato deduces that Danzo intends to destroy Konoha with Orochimaru’s assistance.
