After defeating Black Zetsu, Kaguya identifies Sasuke and Naruto as the reincarnations of Indra and Ashura using her Byakugan. She dismisses Kakashi’s inquiries and transports the group to a lava dimension, leaving Kakashi behind while Sasuke and Naruto escape with the help of a summoned hawk. Sasuke prioritizes their mission to reseal Kaguya over saving the others. During the ensuing battle, Kaguya kills Garuda with hair needles and captures Naruto and Sasuke. Black Zetsu emerges from Kaguya’s arms to absorb their chakra, revealing that he and Kaguya have manipulated all ninja history to ensure her resurrection.
