Sasuke engages Fuushin, whose Typhoon Release overwhelms his Susanoo, but Sasuke secures victory by striking Fuushin through a funnel opening. Despite winning, Sasuke fails to extract information as Fuushin escapes. In Hell Valley, Sasuke encounters Chino, who identifies herself as the last survivor of her clan. She recounts being kidnapped by Oyashiro as a child and awakening her Ketsuryuugan through training. At the Coliseum, she defeated Fuushin, bonding over their shared isolation. After discovering her clan's fate, Chino and Fuushin fled with others to form the Lightning Group, aiding Bamboo village. Conflict with Hidden Mist led to betrayal, resulting in the deaths of two comrades and Karyu's departure. Upon reaching Hell Valley, they found the clan destroyed. Two Hidden Mist shinobi attacked them, only to be transformed into Exploding Humans by Chino, who swore revenge.
