These victims become explosive upon injury, requiring restraint by Naruto and Shikamaru, and unconsciousness by Hinata. Kakashi orders Sai to summon Sasuke due to his visual prowess. Sasuke feeds stray cats before meeting Chino, Iou, and Nowaki, who mistake him for an enemy. Chino attempts Water Release, but Sasuke repels it with Grand Fireball Jutsu. He uses Sharingan to free victims, revealing his Uchiha heritage to Chino, who explains they are wandering entertainers. Iou's daughter transforms and commits suicide. Sasuke concludes via Sharingan Genjutsu that a kekkai genkai user controls the exploding humans.
