Sasuke overpowers Chino, who attempts to transform him into an Exploding Human but fails due to his Sharingan. Defeated, Chino expresses jealousy over Sasuke’s bonds and questions his loyalty to Konoha regarding the Uchiha clan’s destruction. Sasuke cites a friend who shares his pain. Fuushin arrives to defend Chino, but she orders him to stop and surrenders. Sasuke frees captured shinobi in the Coliseum as the Raikage arrives to arrest owners for illegal gambling. The Raikage expresses relief that Naruto successfully pleaded for Sasuke’s life. Orochimaru and Oyashiro converse, revealing Oyashiro possesses the Ketsuryugan, is Chino’s father, and destroyed his clan. Sakura reflects on Sasuke’s atonement. After receiving a letter from Naruto, Sasuke recalls his childhood dream of joining the Konoha Police Force, as mentioned to Itachi, and decides to return to Konoha.
