Asuma's team reaches the Fire Temple to grieve for Chiriku. Izumo deduces that the Akatsuki are pursuing the bounty on his head. Meanwhile, Hidan and Kakuzu proceed toward the exchange location, arguing about their conflicting beliefs. At Ichiraku Ramen, Kakashi hints to Naruto that he has a surprise in store. Later, at the training ground, Kakashi reveals that the actual goal of Naruto's final training is to master the Rasengan. This segment is part of the Akatsuki Suppression Mission arc, specifically episode 4 of 17.
