Choji's spiked cannonball attack fails to penetrate Kakuzu's skin-hardening technique. Meanwhile, in Konoha, Naruto studies the five elemental chakra natures and their respective strengths and weaknesses. Kakashi strikes Kakuzu's heart with his Lightning Blade, but the enemy survives by deploying four masked entities from his back. One mask perishes after being hit by Kakashi. Kakuzu then utilizes the remaining masks to assault Team 10 with powerful Wind, Lightning, and Fire Jutsus. This event occurs during the Akatsuki Suppression Mission arc, specifically episode 13 out of 17.
