Sakura and Sai depart to assist Shikamaru, who reveals he feigned weakness during his Shadow Possession Jutsu against Hidan. Shikamaru redirects explosive tags onto the Akatsuki member and activates a pre-dug trap hole in a forest restricted to the Nara Clan. Aiming to avenge Asuma, Shikamaru envisions the deceased ninja entrusting his Will of Fire before igniting the tags with a lighter, destroying Hidan’s body. Concurrently, Naruto focuses on developing a new technique, the Wind Style: Rasen Shuriken. This sequence occurs during the Akatsuki Suppression Mission arc, specifically episode 16 out of 17.
