Ep. 88: Naruto Launches Rasen Shuriken Against Kakuzu While Shikamaru Secures Hidan's Remains

Naruto attacks Kakuzu with the Rasen Shuriken, but the technique dissipates before impact. Meanwhile, Shikamaru uses an explosive tag to seal the trap hole containing Hidan’s dismembered remains, avenging Asuma. Joined by Sakura and Sai, Shikamaru returns to the group. Naruto creates another Rasen Shuriken, prompting Kakuzu to switch to long-range mode. As Naruto and his shadow clones advance, Kakuzu strikes what appears to be the original Naruto. However, this is a clone, allowing the real Naruto to land a critical hit with a second Rasen Shuriken, destroying both of Kakuzu’s replacement hearts.
