Aware of Arashi's hidden power and secret, Hajime pledges to maintain her confidentiality despite Arashi's continued disbelief that she is a ghost. Seeking to cast a black-haired girl as the lead in an independent film, Hajime and his crew enlist the assistance of other students. Hajime and Jun accompany Arashi to a photo shop, where they examine an old wartime photograph. Upon closer inspection, they realize the image features Arashi alongside Kaya and another girl with blond hair, revealing a connection to the past.
