EP 1Juzo plays Rosa's data device revealing Tokisada's confession about Hayden while Mary investigates the Extended hand.
Jul 10, 2020Juzo listens to a recording from Mega Armed Tokisada admitting to covering up Berühren's creation of Hayden. Mary examines an Extended hand for remote control signals before a warning call from Olivier precedes an attack by Spitzbergen. The group escapes, but Tetsuro and Chris are captured while Mary flees. Spitzbergen wants data implicating Berühren in Extended technology faults. The hand guides Mary to Victor, who warns her away from Extended. Avio Cobo, Olivier's replacement at EMS, seeks Victor, known as the Dismantler for disassembling Extended bodies, and the data. Juzo lies about selling the data. Tetsuro and Chris are taken to Spitzbergen headquarters.
EP 2Mary reveals her past with Victor and plans to find him in the Kyusei Pit.
Jul 17, 2020Mary shares her history with Victor and her intention to locate him in the Kyusei Pit. Spitzbergen’s troops attack to retrieve data from Rosa’s father and threaten hostages, but Juzo neutralizes them and ensures their safety. Juzo joins Mary, revealing Victor was his first client who tasked him with protecting her. Tetsuro learns from Wachowski that he was exploited to fund Spitzbergen. Inside the Kyusei Pit, Juzo and Mary meet Lefty, an Extended hand, leading them to Victor and his headless puppets. Juzo deduces Victor controls Lefty, but Cobo arrives with Reconstruction Agency forces to arrest them. Victor disables the agents using a bodily extension, and Lefty sacrifices itself to save Juzo. Victor captures Mary and threatens to dismantle Juzo for analysis, prompting Juzo to resolve to fight back and protect her.
EP 3Victor's Shadow Self Revealed as Cobo Intervenes to Arrest Juzo and Mary
Jul 24, 2020Victor overpowers Juzo until Mary distracts him, enabling Juzo to bite Victor while Mary destroys the body with a head gun. Lefty explains that a parallel sub-brain controlled the puppet, created by Victor during the war to remotely command Extended soldiers. Traumatized by their brutality, Victor briefly wished for their destruction, causing his sub-brain to seize his body and destroy the research lab. As Victor asks Juzo to kill his true body, Cobo appears and shoots Juzo. Cobo then arrests both Juzo and Mary to stop them from destroying Victor's real body, declaring that eliminating the threat is his responsibility.
EP 4Cobo takes Mary hostage to find Victor while Juzo fights back and Mary confronts the Dismantler.
Jul 31, 2020Cobo captures Mary to force the fake Victor, known as the Dismantler, to reveal the location of Victor's true body. Juzo activates his regenerative combat mode to restore his lost arms and teams up with the Dismantler to defeat Cobo and free Mary. Juzo stays behind to delay EMS reinforcements, allowing Mary to speak with the Dismantler. She explains that he was created from Victor's arrogance, as his extensions only helped humans realize their own potential rather than improving them. The Dismantler departs, promising Tetsuro's safety with Spitzbergen. Olivier removes Cobo from his position due to suspicions of secret collaboration with Spitzbergen. Meanwhile, Wachowski approaches Tetsuro, revealing himself as a scientist behind Extension technology. He demands Tetsuro use Harmony to erase Juzo's identity and activate his combat programming to help Spitzbergen destroy Berühren by eliminating Seven. Wachowski threatens Tetsuro's friends to ensure compliance with this request.
EP 5Olivier reveals Chris and Tetsuro's custody to Juzo while John Podpie's voyeurism leads to a confrontation.
Aug 7, 2020Olivier informs Juzo that Chris and Tetsuro are held by the EMS to secure McMahon's data, causing Rosa to misinterpret their meeting. John Podpie, using his Extended eyes, secretly photographs Scarlet at the Gosling barber shop and suffers a nosebleed. Mary recognizes him as a pervert, punches him, and downloads his images. Although Mary wants to hand him to the EMS, Scarlet insists on his release. Podpie attempts to use his eyes fully but is terrified by what he sees inside Juzo. Juzo warns him that using his eyes for profit makes him a tool, recalling his past as a mindless killing machine in the Noble Rot unit. Juzo suggests Podpie might use his abilities for good rather than evil.
EP 6Juzo and Tetsuro investigate the disappearance of Emma Kurtz's husband Edmund.
Aug 14, 2020Olivier informs Juzo that Tetsuro escaped EMS custody before interrogation. Tetsuro returns with a Spitzbergen voice implant allowing normal speech. Emma Kurtz hires Juzo to find her husband Edmund, an Extended who has vanished. Juzo and Tetsuro investigate, noting Edmund’s restricted file. Mary finds Edmund comatose and brings him to Juzo’s office. Upon Juzo’s return, Edmund attacks him, mistaking him for his former partner Five. A boy interrupts the fight, revealing the error. Emma admits she orchestrated the meeting because both Juzo and Edmund are gun-head units. Edmund is revealed to be Theodore, Emma’s former fiancé. Juzo confesses he let himself be targeted and killed Five six years ago.
EP 7Mary discovers Victor made Tetsuro's voice box while Theodore reveals his past as a Hand.
Aug 21, 2020Mary identifies Tetsuro's new voice box as Victor's work. Theodore confesses to Juzo that he was once one of Five's Hands but betrayed him to the military after the war. Fearing disposal, Five escaped and led a Gun Slave unit rebellion, which Juzo suppressed by killing his former comrades. Tetsuro informs Mary that only four of the thirteen surviving Gun Slave Units remain: two imprisoned in Wunder Bender, Seven with Berühren, and Juzo as Thirteen. He struggles with controlling Juzo but receives encouragement to trust himself. Cunningham assigns a new mission to Pepper and Seven. At Spitzbergen, Kunugi questions Wachowski's motives until Juzo arrives with an unconscious Tetsuro. Wachowski explains his research into extended technology, funded by Berühren, aims to use Tetsuro's Harmony to remove Juzo's limiter. This would allow Juzo to unleash his full power against Seven and destroy Berühren. Spitzbergen fighters are summoned to test Tetsuro's control over Juzo.
EP 8Tetsuro confronts Wachowski about Spitzbergen's terrorism while Juzo fights lower level troops
Aug 28, 2020Spitzbergen troops struggle to defeat Juzo, who remains outside Tetsuro's control. Tetsuro reveals he hacked his own sub-brain using Harmony to deceive Wachowski, demanding an end to Spitzbergen's terrorism against Berühren. He offers to defeat Seven via Harmony, but Wachowski argues terrorism is necessary to stop Wurzel, which controls Berühren. Wachowski explains Berühren's history, Wurzel's takeover, and Spitzbergen's transformation into a terrorist group. Meanwhile, Kunugi immobilizes Juzo with needle bullets after he defeats the fighters. On the upper level, Wachowski reveals he embedded a secret Wurzel-destroying feature in Juzo, activatable only by Harmony. Tetsuro refuses to exploit Juzo, prompting a frustrated Wachowski to stand and reveal he is an Extended. He attacks Tetsuro with weaponized extensions, but Tetsuro retains control over the technology through Harmony.
EP 9Tetsuro defeats Wachowski while Kunugi exposes Spitzbergen's ties to Berühren and terrorism.
Sep 4, 2020Tetsuro removes his extension limits to defeat Wachowski, sustaining a severe injury from a cable puncture. He refuses to kill the old man, but another intervenes. Kunugi injects needles into Spitzbergen fighter Shimazu, boosting her strength and revealing her gender. Juzo swallows cigarettes to resist the needles' effects and defeats Shimazu. Kunugi discloses that his sponsor is Cunningham and that Berühren funds Spitzbergen to promote terrorism and justify extension technology development. Shimazu recovers and attacks Kunugi, but Pepper protects him. Seven arrives with Wachowski's head and attacks Juzo. Juzo uses a restricted combat program, while Pepper removes Seven's limiter, stating her intent to control Juzo. As Juzo and Seven fight, Kronen von Wolf intercepts Kunugi to arrest him for terrorist activities.
EP 10Kronen attacks Kunugi while Juzo falls, prompting Tetsuro to access Juzo's past memories.
Sep 11, 2020Kronen von Wolf attempts to arrest Kunugi but is shot by his needles. Their confrontation is interrupted when Juzo and Tetsuro fall from the floor above. Kunugi escapes while Seven pursues Juzo and fires a powerful blast. Pepper explains that Juzo cannot activate his Devil's Backbone or act independently without a Hands, and she asks him to join her again. He refuses, so Tetsuro decides to use Harmony to remove Juzo's limiter. Tetsuro enters a mental space where he accesses the trigger of Juzo's gun and recalls the last time Juzo saw his former Hands partner. This memory reveals Juzo pursuing renegade Gun Slave Units, luring them into a trap to destroy them all at once. This event completed his mission and marked the moment Juzo became free to make his own decisions.
EP 11Tetsuro helps Juzo overcome his limiter while Cunningham mobilizes forces against Pepper and Seven.
Sep 18, 2020Tetsuro connects with Juzo via Harmony, learning his past as a Resolver and convincing him to pull his own trigger. Public reports frame the battle at End of War Commemoration Park as an Extended rampage. Cunningham panics over Pepper and Seven going rogue, ordering their elimination. Beruhren forces interrupt the fight, prompting Seven to flee to a rooftop. Pepper sees EMS blocking citizens and commands Seven to destroy everything for fame, but a Berühren assassin shoots her, removing her arm. Juzo stops Seven from carrying out the order, having helped him break his limiter. Wurzel watches from afar as the Gun Slave Units unlock new Harmony capabilities, delaying intervention to monitor development.
EP 12Pepper reveals Seven's capture by Berühren while Juzo clarifies their true relationship.
Sep 25, 2020Pepper remains hospitalized at the Reconstruction Agency Holy Church Hospital without her right arm, reflecting on her past with Seven at Berühren. She recalls how they bonded as fragile prisoners, leading her to claim him as her Hands. Mary tends to the injured Shimazu, while Juzo visits Pepper and retrieves her after an escape attempt. Pepper discloses that twin female Extendeds from Berühren have taken Seven. Juzo clarifies that Seven chose to stay with her and asked for her protection before his capture. Pepper offers information on his location in exchange for help. With the End of War Commemoration Park incident covered up as terrorism, Olivier and Juzo suspect their superiors are colluding with Berühren.
