Ryuji initiates combat with Rikuo, demanding he endure his ultimate weapon for three minutes to claim victory. Rikuo survives the assault but sustains heavy injuries. Assuming his opponent is immobilized, Ryuji strikes, only for Rikuo to reveal the damage was feigned and launch a counterattack. Mamiru intervenes to shield Ryuji, prompting Rikuo’s yōkai allies to defend their master. Ryuji then rises unharmed, realizing Rikuo’s blade exclusively harms yōkai. Before departing with Mamiru, he informs Yura of his mission’s objective. Following the engagement, Yura questions Rikuo about his nature. He confirms he is human by day and yōkai by night, yet remains a member of the Nura clan.
