Four hundred years ago, the Nura Clan rose to prominence as a feared yōkai group that spared humans. During this period, Yohime, a woman known as God's gift, possessed healing powers exploited by her controlling father for profit. Her isolation ended when Kyoto yōkai sought to sacrifice her liver to leader Hagoromo Gitsune. Nurarihyon, intrigued by her reputation, visited Yohime and eventually invited her to his clan's hideout to meet his comrades. He proposed marriage, but she refused and demanded he cease visits. The following night, her mansion was attacked, killing all attending onmyōji. Nurarihyon arrived to find the sole survivor revealing that Yohime had been captured by Hagoromo Gitsune's clan.
