Ep. 7: Rikuo confronts Kyoto yōkai while Akagappa refuses their request for aid.

Rikuo’s training proceeds as a group of Kyoto yōkai arrives at Tono Village to persuade Akagappa, the village leader, to assist Hagoromo Gitsune in achieving her objective. Akagappa declines their request. As the Kyoto yōkai prepare to depart, they discover Rikuo and attempt to assassinate him. During the ensuing battle, Rikuo comprehends the true power of Nurarihyon and successfully overcomes his enemy’s fear. The adversaries withdraw, vowing to defeat him alongside his clan and all onmyōji. This confrontation marks the beginning of Hagoromo Gitsune’s invasion.
