Kirino spends time with Saori and Kuroneko, realizing they do not need to conceal their interests. Later, her father discovers her hobby and expresses anger, calling it worthless. Upset by this judgment, Kirino runs away, leading Kyosuke to chase after her. Observing her determination to keep this part of her life, Kyosuke confronts his father on her behalf. While he permits her to continue, he is concerned about the eroge involved. To protect her, Kyosuke claims the game is his own, resulting in him receiving a punch. Kirino subsequently thanks Kyosuke, who is surprised by her unexpected display of affection.
