Ep. 24: Tetsu seeks peace while the Shinsengumi prepare for Choushuu attacks during the festival.

Tetsu dreams of his father on Ryouma's warship, urging him to become a peacemaker. Meanwhile, Hijikata warns Sanosuke, Shinpachi, and Keisuke to remain vigilant against a potential Choushuu clan assault, even as they focus on the upcoming festival. Okita insists his health is stable, while Yamanami takes Tetsu to a shrine to honor the battle dead. During the festivities, Tatsu and Susumu wait for Tetsu, with Susumu forgiving Tatsu for his past harshness. At the okiya, Saya and Hana care for the ill Akesato. Tetsu eventually speaks with Saya, promising never to kill with his sword. He later watches fireworks with Tatsu and Susumu before joining Hijikata, Okita, and Kondou on a rooftop.
