Ep. 17: Claudia’s Deception Exposed as Reiji Faces Betrayal and Explosion

Claudia recalls Romero’s death and vows to take his memories to heaven, while a distorted reflection hints at the Godo clan’s intended fate for her. Reiji discovers a trap set by Daisuke Godo, who reveals he attacked Inferno Cargo to build his market and admits Claudia manipulated everyone to absorb his gang. Shocked by this revelation, Reiji is interrupted by an unknown sniper who kills two Godo men, allowing Lizzie to escape. Reiji confronts the attacker, Eren, now reverting to her Ein persona, who warns that Inferno will kill him. Reiji blames the Scythe Master for Eren’s actions. Meanwhile, Daisuke, remembering his sister Mio, asks his brother Shiga to protect her. Shiga kills Daisuke to prove loyalty to Inferno and prevent war. Lizzie finds Claudia’s mansion empty. Reiji returns to his apartment, hearing Cal’s voice, but the building explodes, leading him to believe she has died.
