Ep. 18: Reiji escapes after killing Inferno's men while Scythe Master plots with McGuire and Lizzie executes Claudia.

Reiji eliminates Inferno’s operatives responsible for bombing his apartment and killing Cal, then escapes. Scythe Master and Shiga brief McGuire, revealing her past attempts to kill him via Phantom. She insists Ein must face Zwei while Inferno handles Claudia. In an alley, Reiji discards a call from Claudia, who explains her betrayal and need for escape. Lizzie recalls a promise to follow Claudia even in death. Claudia seeks a heavenly requiem for Romero, accepting her likely demise. Eren is sent to kill Reiji per Scythe’s orders. Scythe discusses his incomplete Zahlen Schwestern project with a comrade, dismissing Eren’s utility. Lizzie finds Claudia at the beach, executes her after a final conversation about their reunion, and visits their graves. Reiji persuades Eren to abandon Scythe Master and Inferno. They obtain fake Mexican passports to leave America. Reiji visits a church, honoring his promise to Cal by delaying his own departure to care for Eren. Cal’s gun and locket remain on a plate.
