Ep. 7: Ein meets Scythe Master while Zwei practices driving and faces McCunnen's advances.
Ein leaves Zwei to meet Scythe Master, prompting Zwei to practice driving. McCunnen approaches Zwei, causing Scythe Master to warn Ein, who remains unconcerned as she deems Zwei unnecessary for the mission. Scythe Master agrees their pairing was random, a claim later proven false. Ms. McCunnen formulates plans within Inferno. Ein dreams of her past, witnessing Zwei see an assassination of an Inferno reporter by Ein after receiving information. Zwei flees, hiding under a cloak as a transparent dog appears. Ein and Scythe Master eventually catch Zwei, intrigued by his survival skills. Ein wakes Zwei, who asks if she shares his past dreams; she confirms but shows no interest in her history. The duo is assigned to support a Phantom operation stealing 500 kilograms of cocaine. Before departure, Zwei is reassigned to protect Ms. McCunnen instead. Ein insists he obey her orders, while Ms. McCunnen’s plot to eliminate Scythe Master is revealed.
