Reiji abandons his Phantom persona, Zwei, and flees with Ein. Ein attempts suicide due to homelessness, but Reiji intervenes, granting her the new identity of Eren. Eren later encounters Scythe Master after shooting an armed man in an alley. Meanwhile, Lizzie and Claudia capture Reiji in a parking lot as he attempts to hotwire a vehicle. During interrogation, Reiji is accused of aiding Scythe Master’s rebellion against Inferno. Claudia offers to release him and provides a pistol to help save Eren. In exchange, Reiji promises to deal with Scythe Master. This sequence highlights the shifting alliances and the urgent search for Scythe Master by the Inferno organization, while Reiji navigates his new relationship with Eren and his confrontation with Lizzie and Claudia.
