Ep. 4: Terminal Service staff retrieve Giftia Marcia while confronting black market threats and a grieving boy.

The Terminal Service No. 1 team receives seven new retrieval missions, assigning Tsukasa and Isla to collect a Giftia named Marcia. They are cautioned about criminals impersonating employees to sell Giftia on the black market. At Marcia’s residence, they discover she raised her deceased owner’s son, Souta, as an older sister. Souta acts hostile upon their arrival but initially agrees to sign the retrieval form, claiming Giftia cannot be trusted. Unable to secure a signature due to his attitude, Tsukasa seeks advice from Michiru, who suggests proving Marcia’s genuine affection. The group bakes a cake for Souta’s upcoming birthday with help from Michiru and Zack. Michiru later reveals her past failure to save her father, a Giftia, from becoming a Wanderer. When Souta sees the cake, he recalls his family, apologizes to Marcia, and accepts the retrieval. However, a suspicious man posing as a Terminal Service replacement visits Souta the day before the operation.
