Rihito beheads the commander, who admits the bomb was a lie and praises Rihito for saving his friends. Distraught over breaking his no-kill oath, Rihito watches Hina, Murdoch, Lynn, and Pele glow and return to their time. Determined to prevent his friends from killing, Rihito swears his ballot will count enemies killed on their behalf. Hina, realizing she cannot stop Rihito from becoming Licht, decides to love him completely.
