Ep. 18: Licht slaughters enemies during the Waste War while Schmelman creates the floating utopia of Alcia.

The Waste War erupts as Rihito, now Licht, kills thousands while masked. Classmates Sakai, Doan, Sonohara, and Captain Alan undergo Ace surgery. Schmelman, deeming the world hopeless, plans Alcia. Rihito loses his sanity and cuts off Sonohara's left arm. Two years later, the war concludes after Schmelman gathers seven ballots to launch Alcia above the ruined planet. He blocks surface contact, populates Alcia from diverse DNA, and exiles those with zero ballots to a surface portal. Althing drains surface resources to sustain Alcia. Sakai steals a ballot, leading Rihito to kill him on Schmelman's orders, causing a coma. Upon waking, Rihito learns his class committed suicide. He and Nana flee for 300 years, with Licht remaining silent until meeting Hina. Nana expresses hope for the future to Hina, who approaches Licht and offers intimacy to restart their journey.
