Liko, Roy, and Friede deliver Rayquaza's Poké Ball to Tepen, an antique salesman and acquaintance of Diana. Tepen secretly takes the ball to sell it to a buyer. The group chases him through the town, believing he works for the Explorers. They catch him in a park, where he uses sleeping powder against Liko and Roy's Pokémon. However, Cap defeats Tepen's entire team. Diana scolds Tepen for his dishonesty and reminds him of his past love for adventure. Tepen feels remorseful and apologizes. He then leads them to his client, who is actually a Poké Ball craftsman.
